About Us

Hello! I'm Alexis, owner, designer and heart behind Millbrook Farm Flowers. I got my start in the flower business while I was in college at the University of Georgia. I worked in a flower shop part-time delivering flowers and eventually learned floral design. I went on to have a career in the nursing field and all along the way I would design flowers for my friends getting married. In 2018, I started Millbrook Farm Flowers as an official business and I’ve been growing it steadily since. I'm highly creative and have a knack for problem solving. My strengths as a designer lie with floral color palettes and layering floral textures. I’m passionate about flowers and love owning a business that helps create so many treasured memories for my clients. When I'm not spending time with my husband, 3 active boys, and 2 dogs you can find me meeting with clients, working in my East Cobb floral design studio, or out on the weekends making someone’s special day gorgeous. I'm Sadie, and I'm thrilled to be a Lead Designer at Millbrook. My journey with flowers began long before I ever stepped foot into a professional setting. Growing up surrounded by nature, I developed a deep-rooted love for all things botanical. From creating impromptu flower crowns on the playground to crafting arrangements for family gatherings, my affinity for floral design was evident from an early age. It wasn't until a chance encounter at a wedding that my passion for floristry truly blossomed. Talk about stumbling into a dream career! What I love most about working with flowers is the endless well of inspiration they provide. Each bloom, each petal, tells a story waiting to be shared. I thrive on pushing the boundaries of creativity, constantly seeking new ways to showcase the beauty of nature in my designs. But it's not just about the artistry; it's about the joy it brings. I take pride in spreading happiness and brightening the lives of others, one bloom at a time.

Heather, designer and events I grew up in Athens, Ga (GO Dawgs!) settling in East Cobb after several moves to maintain my full time career in advertising. Flowers are a passion for me and from a very early age you would have caught me in the garden with my mom. I was mesmerized by her green thumb and she taught me how to take care of many flowers. She instilled a love for flowers and a garden that can be seen in my yard today. I am excited to assist Alexis in the art of creating the perfect arrangement for your special day! My favorite flower is a peony and my favorite thing to do after a long wedding day is treat myself to a foot massage at the spa.

Wendy, designer and events I have been a team member at Millbrook Farm Flowers since August, 2022. Working in the floral industry has been a rewarding experience for me thus far because we have the opportunity to bring joy to others through creativity, and the beauty of flowers. I am a mother of three sons and my family lives in Milton, Georgia. Our family spends time together 🛥 boating at Lake Lanier in the summer, and fishing when we can. My happy place is the beach, with the sun shinning and sand between my toes. In my spare time I also enjoy watercolor painting, sewing, decorating, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. My favorite flower is a sunflower because it exudes such happiness and cheer.
