about millbrook farm flowers
My love of flowers started long before Millbrook Farm Flowers did. Growing up in Athens, Georgia, some of my favorite childhood afternoons were spent exploring the rose garden at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Years later, while attending the University of Georgia, I took a part-time job at a flower shop delivering arrangements and eventually learned the art of floral design.
I went on to build a career in nursing, but flowers kept finding their way back into my life. I designed for friends’ weddings whenever I had the chance, and in 2018, I finally made it official and started Millbrook Farm Flowers.
Today, you’ll usually find me in our East Cobb studio dreaming up floral color palettes, layering textures, solving design puzzles, and finding just the right flowers to bring an idea to life.
What I love most, though, is knowing our work becomes part of someone’s memories. Flowers may be temporary, but the way a room, a bouquet, or a moment made you feel tends to stick around.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE FLOWERS
Designer & Preservationist
Wendy joined Millbrook Farm Flowers in 2022 and brings her creativity to both our floral designs and preservation work. A fellow mom of three boys, Wendy lives in Milton and loves just about anything creative, from watercolor and sewing to decorating and music.
When she’s not surrounded by flowers, she’s happiest boating on Lake Lanier, fishing, spending time at the beach, or being with her family.

Designer & Local Grower
An Athens native now living in East Cobb, Heather balances a full-time career in advertising with a lifelong love of flowers. Her passion for gardening was passed down from her mom, and she even has her own peony farm.
Heather brings an experienced creative eye and plenty of flower knowledge to our event team.
Favorite Flower: Peony
Our work is romantic, refined, and rooted in the beauty of the natural world, but we don’t believe in repeating the same look from one celebration to the next.
We listen closely to what you love, how you want your event to feel, and even the things you have trouble putting into words. Then we pair that with years of experience, thoughtful sourcing, and a little creative intuition to create something that feels personal rather than prescribed.
Whenever possible, we source seasonal flowers from Georgia growers and choose blooms not only for how beautiful they are, but for how well they’ll perform throughout your celebration.
